![]() ![]() The solution #1 seems right to me, as it is corrects the root cause. IP->Firewall: Press disable on rule #4 (drop all not coming from LAN) ![]() Disabling the firewall rule, which drops our WebFig packages: Interfaces->Interface List tab->Add New: List=LAN, Interface=bridge, Enabled=True ->OKĢ. adding the bridge interface to the LAN list (RECOMMENDED): The firewall rule #4 "defconf:drop all not coming from LAN" drops our WebFig packets because the bridge interface is not on the LAN interface list.ġ. One of them is making the WebFig interface inaccessible. I believe, the Quick Set WISP AP (and probably the Home AP as well), Bridge mode sets a few configuration items incorrectly. I am running a hAp ac^2 with RouterOS v6.43.10. When you're done with ODS, quit it and also quit Terminal.I am new to Mikrotik, so I can't tell which RouterOS version introduced this issue, but I can tell what is causing it and how to resolve it. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. It may take some minutes for ODS to list all the files. The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Paste into the Terminal window ( command-V). Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid. The application is in the folder that opens. ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.) ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways: Sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper Triple-click the line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard ( command-C): Install ODS in the Applications folder as usual. ![]() To see everything, you have to run it as root. ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking it only sees files that you have permission to read. Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. That means you have multiple backups, not just one.ĭeleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space. That method may not find large folders that contain a lot of small files. To locate large files, you can use Spotlight. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash as well: It looked like this "/Volumes/Macintosh HD 2/Users/Elias" Clicked choose and redirected it to the same folder now it look like this "/Users/Elias" after the restart everything still works and I backed up with time machine again and I am about to try again the new Imac being wiped clean with a fresh install of ML see how we go.Įmpty the Trash if you haven't already done so. I now looked at the path of my home folder as I found in some forum that OSX might not be able to find the home folder after one messed with it. made a new Time machine back up and gave it another try still no go same issue couldn't log inĤ. I than deleted the start up volume alltogetherĮverything still worked all data is there and accessible as far as I can tell and the first partition empty.ģ. try to expand the start up volume to move my home folder back into it didn't work as there was no space between the two partitions, and as you can only expand partitions from the end down it was a no go.Ģ.Restored the start up volume into my data volume booted from the data volume now containing all applications etc. I partitioned my drive into one start up Volume and one for data read somewhere that that would be smart thing to do than moved my home folder to the data volume, I figured that this might be the problem when my first try with the new mac went south so here is what I did next.( over the next few days )ġ.
